Dr. Morgan Dixon truly understands the guilt us humans have with making a hard decision and the grief of losing a beloved pet. She was very caring and attentive of the pet and the humans in all aspects of the process. I asked to have my fur baby, Lola, pass outside in our yard where she could be in her favorite place, the sunshine. Without question, Dr. Dixon obliged and I felt so much better about her passing in her favorite place. The vet also was courteous to not let me see the injections so it felt as natural as possible, it was very peaceful. Perfectly imperfect. Dr. Dixon provided good information on grief, made her a candle, and a stone paw print. A few weeks later I also received a poem about Lola from what she remembered, very sweet. I would highly recommend this vet as she cares and understands. 10/10Posted on Google Jo BTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I highly recommend Dr Morgan Dixon and her in home services. She definitely helped make a hard decision and a difficult day a little easier. We appreciated her clear communication, her kindness and the calm energy she carries. Our old and anxious dog was immediately at ease and drawn to her and that helped validate that we were with the right person, doing the right thing, in the right way. Her kind words, gentle guidance and thoughtfulness were a comfort and very much appreciated by our whole family. Thanks for doing what you do for animals and the families who love them. πΎππΎPosted on Google Chris JamesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our 11 year old senior lab mix injured her back leg and was in pain and limping terribly. Our vet prescribed anti-inflammatory pain meds and provided laser treatments with little improvement over time. We requested an orthopedic referral who visually confirmed a torn CCL and recommended TPLO surgery. However, our vet strongly objected to surgery due to our dog's advanced arthritis in all four limbs. Conflicted, I turned to Facebook and found several recommendations for Dr. Morgan Dixon regarding her in-depth expertise with senior pets aging and quality of life. Dr. Dixon conducted a very thorough in-home consultation to assess our dog's pain and mobility confirming a torn CCL and meniscus with surgery recommended as the best chance for a complete recovery. She referred us to NC State Veterinary School of Orthopedics in Raleigh who confirmed the same with advanced imaging. Dr Morgan gave us the confidence to make the decision to move forward with surgery at NC State and it was absolutely the best outcome. She provided appropriate pain management expertise both pre and post-surgery along with bi-weekly post surgery visits to guide us through in home recovery including physical therapy and accupuncture. Our senior dog is thriving and is 110% better thanks to Dr. Dixon's guidance every step of the way. Having the ability to keep our dog at home for post-surgery visits was so convenient and stress-free for all of us. I strongly recommend Dr. Morgan for the care of your aging pet to ease discomfort and maintain their dignity.Posted on Google Diana StylesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Morgan Dixon (Shay Shay Vetinary Mobile) created an atomosphere that was truly personalized and considered. She made one of the most difficult days of our lives peaceful and beautiful. She gave us space, supportive words and all the details of care for our little Chloe to pass surrounded with love and dignity. Later, she even sent us the most beautiful handwritten note and personalized 'Chloe' poem that included all the special things we shared with her about our sweet girl. It's an understatement to say we recomend her highly. Thank you Dr. Dixon.Posted on Google BudsmomTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our Rocky was a big beautiful German Sheppard that had some sudden onset mobility and age related health issues. My husband and I agreed not to be selfish but be thankful for the 10 years God gave us with our big boy and made a decision to transition his life. This wonderful beautiful Doctor was professional yet kind and sensitive with a smile that yielded comfort. She explained every step that was happening to our baby boy. She displayed empathy, kindness and warmth you just do not hardly see in this world. Even though our encounter was brief , she left making me feel as if I had known her forever and had made a friend. It was an honor to have her guiding us through this. I received a clay mold for Rock's paw and a Keychain. This event was made a little softer and a little more sweeter than bitter. She is truly following her calling. Words cannot describe what a treasure this lady is. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts Dr. MORGAN DIXON. Our old baby had to cross the rainbow bridge, and we were very blessed to have Shay Shay Veterinary Clinic come out and facilitate his transition. The doctor was kind and attentive. She took the time to explain everything to our children and gave everyone time to give pets and say goodbye in their way. There was no pressure to hurry up and get things done, we were able to take each step easily without any difficulty. In the end, our old man was allowed to pass with peace and dignity, at home with his family and without the stress of being in an unfamiliar place. We were so very thankful for the opportunity to say goodbye in such an intimate way and we know he is at peace. Thank you so much for the service you provide, for families like ours, dedicated to our pets, you are priceless. I would recommended them to any family that might be looking at having to traverse this difficult time.Posted on Google Carla NormanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dr. Dixon helped us tremendously when we had to say goodbye to our dear Sophie back in August. She allowed us to take all the time we needed and was incredibly professional, compassionate, and patient throughout the entire process. Having her come to our home so Sophie could pass peacefully in the comfort of her own environment made an unbearable moment a little easier. Dr. Dixon also created a small memorial tribute in the back of her car, which gave us a gentle and meaningful way to hand our beloved girl over to her. It was such a thoughtful touch that we will never forget. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Dixon and her business to anyone facing the difficult decision of saying goodbye to their pet. Her kindness and care made all the difference. Jimmy & AmyPosted on Google Garrett NotartomasoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had to say goodbye to my soul dog, Cogsworth the dachshund, on November 18th, 2025. From the moment Dr. Dixon arrived to the moment she left, she made sure the process was as dignified and peaceful as possible. Words cannot do justice to how thankful I am she was the one who oversaw his crossing over. Dr. Dixon- your words meant more than you know as I said my final goodbyes. Thank you for all that you have done for my family.
